The town of Venice, Italy, will double the variety of days that vacationers will likely be charged an entry charge in 2025.
The vacationer tax, which goals to assist fight overtourism within the metropolis, was initially trialed for 29 days between April 25 and July 14, 2024, together with weekends and public holidays. For 2025, the town will impose the tax for 54 days — payable each Friday to Sunday and public holidays between April 18 and July 27.
