In 1925, earlier than Arthur Tauck Sr. set off on Tauck’s inaugural tour, he put an advert in a neighborhood newspaper hoping to garner curiosity from these wishing to see the nation in a brand new means – guided journey. The message was easy and succinct. He mentioned, “All I would like is a congenial social gathering. Ten minutes after leaving Newark, we will be only one completely happy social gathering, correctly chaperoned, out for an actual good time. I would like no grouches or pessimists.”
